This is my card I created for the S&S Sketch Challenge #28. This layout is a little more complicated then my usual, but I needed to make an Anniversary card for my daughter and it worked out great using this sketch!
I apologize for the picture it is terrible! I tried scanning it and then taking the picture with my camera. The colors are all wrong but I wanted to share it anyway.
I used a leftover Dove & Heart sticker Die Cut (the heart is silver silk, don't know why it photoed pink) from a Wedding layout popped up on lime green pattern paper, some Happy Anniversary white with silver writing ribbon, Purple cardstock as their mats, 3 strips of white cardstock that is silver matted, 3 lime green itsy bitsy flowers with mini purple brads in the corner (hiding a ribbon cutting mistake) and everything is on a pale orange (not pink) Pattern Paper covered card. All edges are inked with Stazon Purple! I put a lovely DCWV Vellum quote inside on purple cardstock with a matching flower but my Vellum Tape (suppose to not show through) did not work, so I didn't take a picture of it.
Does anyone know of a Vellum Tape Runner that really works? I have bought 3 now that is suppose to be for Vellum and none of them are clear.

ReplyDeleteOh Shelli is too funny! She got a preview. Very pretty card, I like the sentiment running at the top.
ReplyDeleteI haven't found a vellum tape that works right either. I've just decided I have to cover it up with something. Usually I use a ribbon running on the top or something.
Such a pretty card! A long time ago when I first began scrapbooking, I bought a double roll pack of wackytac vellum adhesive from QVC that really works. I don't even know if that company still exists, but if you can find it, it works perfectly!
