Friday Inspiration Photo - Alphabet Blocks!

Today's inspiration photo at Scrappily Ever After is a photo of Alphabet Blocks!

Here is my design team submission!

This ABC block photo reminded me of all the extra chipboard letters I will never use, so I picked out some, painted them orange, red & white and placed on a square card.

Great for use as a back to school or a teacher's card too!

Wednesday Scrap Challenge!

Well it's Wednesday again and time for the Scrappily Ever After's Scrap challenge. She is still continuing the School theme for a couple more weeks, so here is my Scrappy idea!

I used paper left over from a School Year Layout, added a yellow flower with a white foam piece reading "School Time" and then added 3 buttons with Red Thread!

I had enough scraps to make 3 of these for OWH.org in July!

and I guess, somehow I missed posting last weeks Scrap challenge, so here it is too!

Last weeks challenge was to make a Teacher Thank You Card from Scraps.

I'm not really into Thanking the teacher yet as the school year just started but I need to thank those Bus Drivers. They pick up your kids and drive through terrible traffic and all that kid noise, I don't know how they do it. This could also be used to thank a teacher, I guess!

I had enough scraps to make 4 cards for OWH.org in July!

Friday Photo Inspiration at Scrappily Ever After

Today's inspiration photo at Scrappily Ever After is a photo of Books!

Here is my design team submission!
Seeing the photo of books reminded me of needing a way to carry them to school. I used the My Mind's Eye Frame Up Friend Backpack Girl and some scrap school paper. The Ribbon is from My Memories Ribbon School Set.

I also made a boy version with the My Mind's Eye Frame Up Friend School Boy!

Both My Mind's Eye Friends and many more are available for purchase in my store at
Circle B Enterprises Scrapbooking & More Store

Use your scraps Collage Card!

I designed these cards for Melanie at Scrappily Ever After using scraps from my stash! She wanted a Back to School theme but you could use this design for any theme. (I will add Halloween, Christmas and Anniversary samples later this week, so check back!)

We all have those flat stickers laying around in our stashes. This design is fast, fun, easy and helpful in getting rid of leftover stickers and scraps to make room for new supplies.

Here is how to make for an A2 (4.25 x 5.5) size card! Use a pre-made White card covered with pattern paper or cut a 8 1/2 x 11 sheet of cardstock in half and fold!
  • Print a saying out on computer on White Cardstock, then cut into a 3 1/4" x 1/2" strip! Ink Edges!
  • Cut one 4" x 2" on white cardstock and make a collage of themed stickers on it! Ink Edges!
  • Cut 2 mats (you chose color). Make them 4 1/4" x 2 1/4" and 3 1/4" x 3/4"! Ink Edges and place under the white pieces!
  • Cut 2 pieces of ribbon about 2" long each! Fold in half and place under each end of the matted saying!
  • Punch 2 circles or use Gems, Brads, Flowers .... in the same color as the ribbon! Place in each upper corner!
  • Ink the outside edges of card to finish!
Have some fun making a few Collages (kids can help) and create some cards for OWH this month!
Remember if using colored cardstock to line the inside with paper for writing space!
